Secretary of the Fellowship of Reconciliation (FOR). Vice-president of the Women’s International League for Peace & Freedom (WILPF). Assistant preacher at the City Temple (London, England). Founder of the Society for the Ministry of Women. In 1932, Royden proposed the formation of a Peace Army made up of unarmed civilians willing to interpose themselves between combatants in war zones.
